Hidden Cat

So, currently all my favorite artists are from Carolina (Toro Y Moi, J. Cole, Washed Out)
And Hidden Cat is definitely getting closer to being added to my list.

This full-body, elevating, funky tune is the reason I fell in love with Hidden Cat in the first place.

Hidden Cat - Shooting Stars

Egyptian Hip Hop

This just over 12 minute, dark (and/or tribal), drum circle experience is brought to you by Egyptian Hip Hop & LA Priest.

SFV ACID - LIVE ACIDIC “SPROUT SESSION

Holy Shit...
Some of the finest Progressive/Funkadelic/House/Electronic
music I have ever heard. Makes me want to melt into a wall.

The Mantles-Self Titled

Another 60's like distorted garage rock band.
Hailing from SanFransisco, The Mantles are
much like if Ganglians and Wavves were to have a child.

Some More Overseas Action

Smith Westerns- Self Titled

I admit, I should've posted this a few months ago, but to tell you the truth; it took me awhile to get into it. Hopefully this stuff will catch alot quicker for the rest of you, because it's some solid material.

I'm a huge fan of lo-fi, and minimalistic music;
But, I cant help but fall in love with BIG A little a (or for short 'Aa')

But shit, who couldn't fall in love with a DIY, maximalism, tribal/electronic group?

New Washed Out!

I was so fucking excited when I first read about the new Washed Out mix,
I mean, he has been gone out of the country for his honeymoon, and the wait was getting too damn long.

So thank you Washed Out and coming back and giving us something to munch on until the album.

The 80's Overseas

Scotch - Mirage

This song is super catchy and offers some poppy synth. Did I mention its great to dance to?
Ken Laszlo - Hey Hey Guy

UUmmmmm...yea. You can draw any conclusions you want. I just like the "Whoaaa" part.
Kenny Master-Time to fly

His face is just priceless. Decent song, not a lot to the video.

Sensible Nectar-Everything's Dancing For You CD's 1 and 2/You Are All I Could Ever Ask For

Upon stumbling into the austere and translucent artist, Sensible nectar, a.k.a justin marc lloyd, a feeling of ambience had to be met. These handful of albums do just that. And what better way than with spacious guitar. Enjoy!

Machinarium

The long anticipated wait is over(or at least for me). From the amazing team at Amanita Design, the makers of the Samorost 1 & 2. Comes their latest endavor, Machinarium. A point and click game, that blows any web game out of the water. With fantastic design & and spacey soundtrack. this game is more work of art than game. Perfect for those who love Myst, and/or puzzle games. the creativity from the cezch based design company is for better words stunning. even if you don't like puzzle games admire this for its animation and beautiful artwork. In a world of robots, you play as a small robot who has been thrown out of the city, and his adventure of getting back in and saving the day from the black-cap brotherhood who is trying to destroy the city. the demo available online lets you play the first couple of stages, and the full version for Mac or PC lets you explore the world and puzzle your brain for a mere $20. well worth the purchase. Czech it out at here and also check out the Amanita Design site and play Samorost or watch some of thier graphic animations.

Fergus and Geronimo-Harder than It's ever been EP

Some very good distorted, Sam Cooke driven, surf rock. Yet still remaining incredibly unique, Fergus & Geronimo retain an incredible blend of 50's rock and catchy synthesisers.

Ty Segall-Self titled

Very lo-fi rock with a 60's feel
